2023 South Carolina Mustang Challenge
The mustang challenge will travel to South Carolina in 2023! In correlation with the Mustang Heritage Foundation and the Bureau of Land Management, the Mustang Challenge will be at Mullet Hall, Johns Island, SC September 28th - 30th. Pick up will be in Columbia, SC on May 18th OR Pikeville, TN May 12th.

Adults can choose to compete in Riding or In-hand division.
3 Divisions
Adult Riding
1. Handling and conditioning
2. Pick Two Classes: Dressage, Reining, Trail or jumping (hunters).
3. Freestyle
Adult In-hand
Handling and Conditioning, Trail, Pattern, Freestyle
Youth In-hand
Handling and Conditioning, Trail, Pattern, Freestyle
100 youth and adults will have 120 days to gentle and train a wild Mustang in preparation for this competition. Classes on Thursday, Friday and Saturday where competitors will compete for $20,000 in prizes!
Applications are below. Both forms are required.

* Competitors choose their horse from pictures provided. The order in which horses will be chosen is the order in which applications are received. Get your applications in early.
*Prize money will be $20000.
* Applications are below. A competitor application and an adopter application are required. Adult adoption fee is $125. Youth is $25.
* It is FREE to enter this competition. Cost of horses for the adults is $125 and $25 for the youth. Stall and entries are provided for no charge. Competitors are responsible for all costs associated with caring for the horse for 4 months. Competitors will receive $200 back at the competition.
