Join us in the search for America's Next Top Youth Trainer in Lexington, KY on September 13th and 14th,2024. Ages 8 -18 is eligible
Competitors are to pick up their competition mustangs directly from a BLM adoption facility or a Satellite adoption event anytime between September 8th, 2023 and June 1st 2024.
Here is a list of all BLM adoption events where you can find eligible horses.
Youth trainers will have the opportunity to gentle and train a wild Mustang or burro in preparation for this competition. Competitors will compete in 3 in-hand classes on Friday and Saturday to determine who will take home the title of "America's Next Top Trainer" and a share of $30,000 in cash and prizes!
The entry fee for this challenge is $150, due at the time of entry. Entries are due by June 1st 2024.
The youth competition is in-hand only, Youth trainers ages 8-18 are eligible to adopt a 12-24-month old mustang to train and compete in-hand. Ages 15 - 18 can compete a mustang up to 4 yrs old.
10 youth will be eligible to compete in one extra under saddle portion of the event.
